We All Win™ – Community Reward
The WAW reward is focused on fostering the spirit of giving and receiving as Smile Africa seeks ways to raise funds to build the “Kelowna (associated) Library” in Ghana, and more across Africa. Being mindful of donor community needs, Mr. Herb Capozzi (a Smile Africa advisor) has endorsed the WAW™ Reward as a challenge program to support local elementary schools that need help too.
This is how it works:
- Mr. Capozzi has endowed an initial $2,500 in the WAW™ Reward program
- The amount can be matched by anyone to become $5,000
- The total WAW™ reward will be donated to a local school PAC trying to raise funds for its playground equipment, for instance, or meet a specific need
- The WAW reward will ONLY be allocated when SMILE AFRICA reaches its first goal of 5,000 unit sales of the beCAUSE™ 2015 t-shirts for the library in Ghana
Through this program, people everywhere (particularly students in the Okanagan and Canada) are challenged to support the t-shirt fundraiser to help poor children obtain a library in Ghana, while allowing a local elementary school to also benefit and meet a need.
